Just finished up this Wizard for Nayantara Studios. My first attempt at painting any sort of magic. Again i could spend a lot of time working in the details but these need to remain quick. I spent about 6.5 hours on this one. Enjoy!

I love this...I wish I could give you an educated opinion on it, but its not exactly my specialty... I love it! ~summer
thank you!! sure you can give me an educated opinion, for one i know you're a good artist and two even if you aren't you don't have to be an artist to tell when something doesn't look right.
The hood gets a little confusing where it runs behind the magic. Slight adjustments to where the lightning runs or the edge of the hood right there would probably fix that. The upper right arm seems a little flat in comparison to the rest of her body. These are minute things though. Great color choices and the lighting/texturing is just amazing.
I am an Illustrator. I love to create characters and put them in fantastic environments. Telling stories with pictures is so much fun! I am currently attending the Art Institute of Colorado for a BA in Media Arts and Animation. I have met a lot of inspiring people there and and i my thanks goes out to them.
